Grill and Chill

Thomas and Wayne mentioned they would like to have another Grill and Chill at Wayne’s house on Broadmoor. Weather permitting it was planned for April 13, 2025 from 3-6 p.m. If the weather is not good, it can be moved to April 27. Wayne will once again provide the barbeque (thank you Wayne!) and everyone else coming is asked to please bring a side of their choice.

East Nashville Neighborhood Association Meeting February 26 

Thomas advised that the East Nashville Neighborhood Association Meeting will be at Shelby Park Community Center and Thomas has put the information on the Association’s website calendar. 

Metro Police Reps Attending Monthly Neighborhood Meetings 

Thomas updated that since our monthly meetings have been moved to Sundays, the Metro Police Reps for our areas will be unable to attend the meetings as they do not work on Sundays. 

Restaurant Dinner Nights 

It was discussed that people may want to try new restaurants in the area with a group of people from the neighborhood. Many new and exciting restaurants were discussed. If you are interested in organizing a group to attend a restaurant, please feel free to contact Thomas or post something on the Neighborhood Face Book page to gauge interest and to make reservations/organize the get together. 

Yard Signs Publicizing the Neighborhood Association

It was discussed that Allison can create and will order approximately 7 signs that will be placed throughout the neighborhood in yards to publicize the Association. The cost will be $8-10 per sign and Allison will be reimbursed for the same. 

Possible May Kid Friendly Event

There was discussion to have a kid friendly neighborhood event in May this year. More to come on this!

Association Fees

Thomas advised that while dues have not been collected for about three years, the Association is fine financially. In the next email advising of the March meeting, he will attach an inventory regarding neighborhood t-shirts that are still available for sale at $10 per shirt for those interested in purchasing one. 

Next Meeting  

The next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 5:00 p.m. at Bethel Church – 455 Broadmoor Drive. SEE YOU THERE!!
